A native to Pleasanton, California, Cassie Thomas grew up with hometown values, cultural diversity, and a passion for innovation which the Bay Area is known for. Cassie attended college at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Motion Picture and Television Producing with a double minor in screenwriting and acting and Foothill College where she obtained an Associate of Arts in Art History.
After many years as a freelance special effects makeup artist Cassie got the opportunity to work in the corporate sector of the cosmetics industry for companies such as theBalm Cosmetics, and Japonesque Cosmetics where she worked designing cosmetics and tools as well as private label lines for industry giants such Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, and CVS/pharmacy. It was at this point in her life Cassie discovered her passion for marketing and graphic design. She decided to switch careers to follow her dreams and got a job as the Marketing Coordinator for Empire Realty in Danville, California.
After a year at Empire she was approached by Better Homes and Gardens Mason-McDuffie Real Estate to become their Creative Director, a role Cassie was happy to accept. It was in this role Cassie realized the marketing and design struggles real estate professionals encounter in running their business and decided to join Compass whose innovative tools and resources, along with a family-oriented workplace allowed her to develop into a strong marketing resource for the real estate agents in the East Bay Area.
Cassie continues to work as the Marketing Advisor for the Pleasanton/Livermore Valley office and greater East Bay and provides one-on-one concierge service for agents.
